T Shirt Quilt

I finally finished my first T shirt quilt! I made it for my friend, Jen. She's giving it to her son as a high school graduation gift. It wasn't so hard, just time consuming and it was a little daunting cutting up someone else's T shirts on my first ever attempt! I seriously worried about screwing up and slashing the poor kid's favorite shirts.

Not to worry, I slashed the binding up by accident instead! It all worked out in the end and he will prize it for years to come..

It's backed with a Chicago Bears plaid flannel. Nice and soft and cuddly! And very warm! There is also a special little pocket on the back.
